Ingredients and Directions:
Stir together:
4 C Warm Water.
2 T Yeast
1 T Sugar
Let it set till it bubbles (a few minutes)
1/3 C Sugar
2 T Salt
1/2 C Oil
2 C Whole Wheat Flour (only if making WW Bread>Omit if making white bread)
2 C Seal of Minnesota Flour (a brand of premium baking flour; Anna’s, and most Amish lady’s favorite) If you don’t have Seal Of Minnesota brand, any high quality flour will work.
Mix well, then ADD:
6 more C Flour
Place in greased glass bowl and cover with cheesecloth, put in warm place and let rise for 30 minutes.
Punch it down, then let it rise again.
Roll and Shape it, and place it in greased bread pans.
Let it rise 30 more minutes.
Using a fork, prick a few holes in the top. Bake @ 200* for 10 minutes. Then @ 350* for an additional 20 minutes. Remove from pans and cool on racks. When cool, place in plastic bags and tie shut.
