CARAMEL PIE

INGREDIENTS:
? 2 pre-baked pie shells
? 3 cups brown sugar
? 3 cups water
? 2 tablespoons butter
? 1 cup flour
? 3 cups milk
? 6 egg yolks
DIRECTIONS:
1. Boil brown sugar, water and butter together for 2 to 3 minutes for a good caramel flavor.
2. Combine flour, milk and eggs yolks; slowly stir flour mixture into boiling syrup, stirring constantly until it comes to a boil.
3. Remove from heat; cool 5 minutes, stirring once.
4. Pour into 2 pre-baked pie shells.
NOTE: You can either make a meringue topping from the egg whites or allow pie to cool completely and top with whipped cream.
