¾ C. salad oil
2 C. sugar
2 ¾ C. flour
2 C. boiling water
2 eggs
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
3 T. cocoa
Dissolve cocoa in boiling water; then cool. Cream sugar and oil; add 2 well beaten eggs. Sift
flour before measuring; add soda, baking powder and salt. Add the cocoa mixture into the flour
mixture. Bake at 350° F.
