1?-2 C. ground cherries
1? C. brown sugar
pinch of salt
1 T. ReaLemon Juice or vinegar
1 T. butter
ClearJel

Put cherries in saucepan. Add enough water to cover cherries. Add ReaLemon Juice, brown sugar and salt.
Bring to a boil. Thicken with clear jel. Turn down heat and boil for 2 minutes. Take off stove and add butter.
Pour into unbaked pie shell. Put crust on top and bake at 450? F. until golden brown.
