1qt. honey
3tsp. butter
2tbsp. vinegar
1/2tsp. baking soda
2tsp. lemon extract
In a saucepan over low heat combine honey, butter and vinegar. Bring mixture to a boil and cook until candy thermometer reaches 300 degrees. Remove from heat add baking soda and lemon extract. Pour into a greased pan and allow to cool. Cool for about 45 minutes score the candy and allow to cool completely. When cooled completely break apart and store in airtight container. This is excellent for a cough and good for a sweet fix too!!!
