ICE CREAM

ICE CREAM Mrs. Sam E. Yoder Fannie D. Gingerich Heat 4 cups milk to almost boiling. Soften 2 packages gelatin (2 level tablespoons is same as 2 packages) in ? cup cold water; mix with 2 cups sugar, salt, vanilla and 4 well beaten eggs. Stir into hot milk. Let cool. Add 2 cups cream or canned milk. This is enough for 1 gallon.
