IRON SKILLET GREEN BEANS

Olive Oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium onion,thinly sliced
2 pounds green beans
1 1 /2 cup cherry tomatoes, cut in half
In a heavy cast iron skillet, saute onions and garlic in olive oil over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Add green beans and tomatoes and turn down heat halfway. Cover and let cook for abut an hour stirring every minute few minutes. Season to taste.
