Macaroni and Cheese

8oz uncooked Macaroni noodles
2 eggs
2 & ? c. milk
Salt and pepper to taste
1lb shredded or cubed sharp cheddar
4 Tbsp. butter
1 sleeve crushed Ritz crackers
Boil macaroni noodles until just tender. Lightly butter 8×8 inch baking dish. Slightly beat 2 eggs in medium bowl. Add milk and salt and pepper to the beaten eggs and mix together. Drain cooked macaroni and add a layer of macaroni noodles to the bottom of the baking dish. Top with shredded or cubed cheese, add another layer of noodles and then cheese, repeat until baking dish is full, ending with a layer of cheese on top. Pour egg and milk mixture on top of the layers of macaroni and cheese, jiggle to distribute evenly. Finally, sprinkle the top with the crushed Ritz crackers and top with the remaining butter. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes or until top is golden brown.
