3 C. rhubarb, cut fine
? C. sugar

? C. flour
6 tsp. water

Put cut rhubarb in baking dish. Combine sugar and flour and sprinkle over rhubarb. Add water.

TOPPING:

1 C. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
? tsp. salt

? C. rolled oats
? C. milk

? C. brown sugar

Sift dry ingredients in bowl; cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in oats.
Add milk; stir until moistened. Pour over rhubarb mixture. Bake 20 minutes at 400?.
