SANDWICH SPREAD Mrs. Joas J. Miller 6 lg. onions 6 lg. cucumbers 6 green peppers 6 red peppers 1 handful salt 1 pt. vinegar Grind onions, cucumbers and peppers. Add salt and vinegar and put on stove to boil. Boil 15 minutes. While this boils, mix 1 large cup flour, 1 quart mustard, 2 tablespoons turmeric and 1 tablespoon vinegar. Add 5 cups sugar to the boiling mixture. Boil this. Then stir in flour mixture and boil 5 minutes. Pour in pint jars and seal.
