Single Raised Donuts

3 eggs
6 c. flour
2 c. warm water
1 T. salt
4 T. yeast
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. lard
Dissolve yeast in water. Add all ingredients together in bowl, mix well. Let rise to double size. Roll out, cut and let rise again. Fry in deep fat. Cool and glaze. These stay soft and good for quite awhile.
Donut Glaze:

2 tsp. white Karo
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 to 3 T hot water
Mix ingredients. Roll donuts in mixture while still warm.
