SNICKERDOODLES

? 1/2 c. margarine
? 1/2 c. Crisco solid shortening
? 2 eggs
? 1 1/2 c. sugar
? 2 3/4 c. flour
? 2 tsp. cream of tarter
? 1 tsp. baking soda
? 1/4 tsp. salt
? 2 tbsp. sugar
? 2 tsp. cinnamon
Directions:
1. Mix first four ingredients thoroughly.
2. Presift the next 4 ingredients together.
3. Add to the first mixture.
4. Form balls (walnut size).
5. Roll into mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
6. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
7. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Cookies will flatten into circles as they cook.
NOTE: May top with red hots or leave unadorned. Store well in Tupperware and can be frozen.
