STICKY CHICKEN

Ingredients:
? 1 chicken cut up
? 4 tablespoons cooking oil
? 1/4 cup flour
? salt and pepper to taste
? butter
Directions:
1. Pour about 2 tablespoons oil into skillet.
2. Add a tablespoon of butter if desired. Heat until oil is hot.
3. Coat chicken pieces with flour.
4. Place in hot skillet, sprinkle salt and pepper on pieces and brown on all sides. Remove chicken and place in a 2 quart casserole dish. Do this until all pieces are browned.
5. Rinse skillet with about 1/4 to 1/2 cup water and add to chicken.
6. Place dish, covered into oven at 350 degrees.
7. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
8. When chicken is done, use drippings to make gravy.
